Newborn Follow-Up Clinic

Via an ongoing collaborative partnership with Toronto Public Health, North York General Hospital has established the Newborn Follow-Up Clinic.

Dedicated to supporting the feeding of babies residing across the Greater Toronto Area, the clinic provides families with access to an interprofessional health care team trained to provide the following services:

  • Prenatal breastfeeding consults
  • Postnatal breastfeeding consults
  • Jaundice management (up to 14 days of life)
  • Weight management (up to 14 days of life)

Hours:
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Seven days a week, Monday to Monday

The Newborn Follow-Up Clinic is equipped to offer video prenatal and postnatal feeding consults, thus enabling caregivers to speak with a lactation consultant from the comfort of their own home. This service is available only during weekdays (Monday–Friday).
