Eating Disorders Program

North York General Hospital offers two programs for eating disorders: one for adolescents and one for adults.

Adolescent Eating Disorders Program
North York General Hospital's Adolescent Eating Disorders Program, offered by our Maternal, Newborn and Paediatric Care Program, provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and teenagers between the ages of 12-18 with an eating disorder.

This program in the outpatient day hospital supports childen and teenagers who no longer need 24-hour supervision but require a structured program.

The program includes medical, nutritional, mental health care and an academic program staffed by a Toronto Catholic District School Board teacher.
