North York General actively pursues and supports a broad range of innovative initiatives that enable the hospital to sustain its operations and achieve its strategic objectives.
These opportunities seek to provide an outstanding patient and family experience and improve the quality and safety of patient care at North York General and throughout the health-care system. At the same time, these opportunities generate funds for both the hospital and its partners.
In addition to leveraging the bright minds of our physicians, researchers, staff and volunteers to identify, develop and implement these projects, we are interested in learning about new ideas and innovative models of partnerships from external supporters. These partners could include academic institutions, government, industry, our patients and their families.
The types of initiatives and joint ventures North York General Hospital is interested in discussing include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establishment of medical and clinical services that are not funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care;
Retail opportunities that support North York General’s clinical services;
Corporate sponsorship, preferred provider and other marketing opportunities;
Information technology (IT) and software development initiatives;
Alliances between our researchers and clinicians, pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers for regulated clinical trials and research studies;
Providing advisory services in the development of programmatic, managerial, operational and infrastructure related health-care initiatives.
