New Reactivation Care Centre to offer specialized care for patients
The Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), in collaboration with Humber River Hospital, North York General Hospital, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Mackenzie Health and Markham Stouffville Hospital, announced today the opening of the new Reactivation Care Centre – A Central LHIN Hospitals Collaborative at the former Humber River Hospital Finch site, located at 2111 Finch Avenue West.

NYGH first Canadian breast cancer program to receive prestigious accreditation
North York General Hospital's (NYGH) breast cancer care program, which includes theBMO Financial Group Breast Diagnostic Centre,is the first comprehensive breast cancer care program in Canada to receive full accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.


Dr. Jeremy Theal has been recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for improving patient care at North York General Hospital (NYGH) and improving the quality and safety of care of patients across the province and the country.

North York General first hospital in GTA to provide radioactive seed localization
