Urgent Care Centre (UCC)
The UCC is designed specifically to manage any urgent illness or injury that is not life threatening (broken bones, cuts,) quickly and efficiently. Patients of all ages are accepted and no appointment is necessary.
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

TJAC is an innovative hospital partnership between orthopaedic surgeons at Markham Stouffville Hospital and North York General to reduce the time patients wait for hip and knee replacement.

Gale and Graham Wright Prostate Centre
The Gale and Graham Wright Prostate Centre provides an environment exclusively for men that supports early access to diagnosis, support and education, and a coordinated approach to treatment planning — all in one location. Our focus is to provide expert, compassionate and state-of-the-art care for men with a suspicion of prostate cancer.
Cataract High Volume Centre
This regional centre for cataract surgery has one of the highest annual volumes of surgeries in Ontario. Through an innovative partnership between North York General, Markham Stouffville Hospital and Humber River Regional Hospital, the centre is a model of care delivery designed to reduce wait times and improve outcomes for patients. Patients referred to the centre receive the earliest available date for cataract surgery with one of our highly skilled ophthalmologists.

Diabetes Education Centre
The centre offers group programs and individual counselling for people with diabetes and their families at all ages and life stages. As well, the Central LHIN Centre for Complex Diabetes Care (CCDC) at NYGH provides comprehensive care for patients with complex diabetes needs.

Adolescent Eating Disorders Program
The program provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and teenagers between the ages of 12 to 18 with an eating disorder.
Mental health services located at Branson include: Addiction Program – adult and transitional age youth; Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT); Child and Adolescent Outpatient Mental Health; Partial Hospitalization Program; Adult Outpatient Mental Health; outpatient groups; Mental Health and Justice Treatment and Support Services; Primary Care Reversed Shared Care Services; and the Participants' Council – Peer Support.

Medical imaging services located at the Branson site include: general radiology; ultrasound; mammography: bone mineral densitometry and the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP),
a provincial program providing high quality early detection breast cancer screening to women.

An outpatient pharmacy (drug store) at the Branson Ambulatory Care Centre is on the first floor near the Urgent Care Centre. It is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m.) Closed Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays.
