Our programs, Cancer Care, Emergency Medicine, Family and Community Medicine, Genetics, Maternal, Newborn and Paediatric Care, Medicine and Elder Care, Mental Health, and Surgery, are supported by a number of departments including Medical Imaging, Laboratory Medicine and Pharmacy Services.

The hospital's 24-hour full service Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency is one of Canada's busiest emergency departments. The Seniors' Health Centre is the hub of services for seniors at North York General and includes a 192-bed long-term care home.
