Treating seniors who have multiple high-burden chronic diseases

North York General Hospital's Monika Kastner, Research Chair in Knowledge Translation and Implementation, was featured in a Canadian Medical Association Journal podcast with Dr. Sharon Straus from St. Michael's Hospital.

The two shared the results of their research on the effectiveness of interventions for managing multiple high-burden chronic diseases affecting older adults. They discussed whether the single-disease approach to management is better than an integrated multi-disease approach to care.
