Getting Involved Here are some ways you can become involved with North York General Hospital Foundation: Special Events The preparation and implementation of a special event is very exciting! We welcome volunteers who would like to help with selling tickets, securing sponsorship and auction items, or to help with other aspects of the event. This volunteer opportunity requires dedication and enthusiasm. As a volunteer you will reap the benefits of being able to participate in the planning from start to finish. Community Events Working together with community supporters has to be one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences. The Foundation has partnered with many surrounding businesses and organizations to raise funds for Hospital programs. These events can range anywhere from a book sale to a large scale event. Foundation Office Would you like to help with the Foundation's day-to-day activities? There are lots of things to do. This is where the real action is and volunteers are crucial to the success of our fundraising efforts. Board and Standing Committees Members of these groups are volunteers, who are willing to share their experience. They are committed to working long hours for the benefit of the Hospital and its patients. They are responsible for the governance of the organization and setting its strategic direction.
