Ontario Provincial Police Fundraiser
Inspector Brent Mikstas (shown below) presents North York General Hospital and Foundation staff with a donation (as shown below) of $2,000 designated to children’s health services at the Hospital. This donation will be used to improve facilities, purchase equipment, and create an overall child friendly environment to ensure services are available to meet the growing demand of children’s health care at North York General Hospital. Corporate and community involvement and our alignment with trusted supporters, such as Ontario Provincial Police are imperative to the success of this initiative. North York General Hospital provides the greatest breadth of children’s health care services in a community hospital setting in the Greater Toronto Area. North York General Hospital has a comprehensive range of services for children and adolescents. North York General Hospital, including the IODE Children's Centre, offers medical, surgical, emergency and mental health services to meet the complex needs of infants, children and teens. Last year, the Hospital welcomed over 5,700 babies, cared for over 20,000 children and performed more than 3,000 surgical procedures on patients under 19 years of age.
