5th Annual Daniel Nestor Tennis Exhibition
Held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Donalda Club this event raised more than $55,000 for North York General Hospital's BMO Financial Group Breast Diagnostic Centre. Over the past 5 years, this event has raised almost $240,000 for the hospital! The 2007 event was an evening of high stakes and revelry with gourmet food by some of Toronto's top chefs including Susur Lee and Jamie Kennedy. Hosted by City TV's Gord Martineau, the fun-filled evening included a casino, live and silent auction, a cocktail reception, and dancing to live entertainment! Also, in attendance was Canadian Idol judge Jake Gold. In conjunction with the evening event, an exhibition tennis match also took place on the Sunday, with US Open Champion and US Olympic Gold medalist, Daniel Nestor.
