A night for Brian Williams Event Sponsors Event Media Room Photogallery

On April 5th, 2006, more than 375 guests attended A night for Brian Williams at the York Event Theatre. The tribute evening, hosted by North York General Hospital Foundation and presented by RBC Capital Markets, benefited North York General Hospital - where Brian has been a long-time member of the Board of Governors. By evening's end, $115,000 had been raised.

Peter Mansbridge, anchor of The National, emceed the event. The evening also featured Hockey Night In Canada icon Don Cherry, a new video about North York General Hospital titled
Embracing Health, and tributes from other friends and
colleagues of Brian Williams.
