Record Breaking Year for Heart of Fashion 2006

Last season's annual Heart of Fashion at Bayview Village Shopping Centre, which drew over 1,800 guests, raised an event record $200,000 for North York General Hospital's BMO Financial Group Breast Diagnostic Centre (BDC) and Cancer Care Services. The event helped raise funds for a new MRI with breast diagnostic capabilities.


Over the past six years, Heart of Fashion has raised over $800,000 - the 2007 Heart of Fashion will bring us to the million dollar mark! That's an exceptional accomplishment that could not happen without the wonderful leadership and commitment of Co-Chairs Anna Scaini and Donnalyn Mantini and the entire event planning committee.

Planning for the 2007 Heart of Fashion is already in full speed. This year the event is scheduled for Sunday November 18th, at Bayview Village Shopping Centre. We hope to raise over $200,000 to help purchase a New Capillary DNA Sequencer.

With your support again this year, we will be able to raise these funds and purchase this much needed equipment.
