An Officers’ Mess Dinner Mess Dinner Benefits Hospital and Advances Health Care in Khandahar Under the leadership of Foundation Governor Guy R. Thibault, Brigadier-General, Canadian Forces, a formal Officers' Mess Dinner in May featured a tribute to Honorary Captain (Navy) Sonja Bata. This unique event was held at the Armour Heights Officers' Mess at the Canadian Forces College, Toronto. The event's proceeds benefited North York General Hospital. A portion of funds raised were also allocated to the advancement of health care for civilians through community hospitals in Khandahar, Afghanistan.
