2004 Heart of Fashion raises a benchmark $175,000! Over 1,850 people kicked off the season of giving by attending the 2004 Heart of Fashion, an exclusive holiday shopping evening fundraiser, for North York General Hospital's BMO Financial Group Breast Diagnostic Centre on Sunday November 21st. Raising a record $175,000 net, the evening featured exclusive night-only store discounts; complimentary martinis, fine wines and gourmet food; a silent auction; 50-50 cash draw; and the one-of-a-kind North York General Hospital re-designed lab coats created by prominent Canadians such as Mario Lemieux, Dan Aykroyd, Dr. Roberta Bondar, Alan Thicke, Mayor David Miller, the Honourable Dalton McGuinty and the Right Honourable Paul Martin and the Toronto Argonauts.
