North York General Hospital provides patient care at three sites:

Two of these sites the General Site and Seniors' Health Centre
are located close to each other near the Leslie and Sheppard
intersection. The Branson Site is located further west, on Finch between
Dufferin and Bathurst.

The hospital is south of Sheppard, north of Highway 401, on the east
side of Leslie St. If you are coming from the 401, take the Leslie exit.
The hospital is just north on Leslie, so stay in the right lane. If
you are driving south on Leslie Street, stay in the right lane and use
the bridge to get to the hospital. To reach the Visitors' Parking, turn
right as you enter the General Site grounds and the Visitors' Parking
will be on your left.

- On Leslie St., the Leslie 51 bus runs Monday to Saturday (no Sunday
service) from Eglinton subway to Don Mills and Steeles.
- The subway goes to North York General Hospital. On the Sheppard
subway extension (from Sheppard/Yonge to Don Mills) exit at the Leslie
station and follow the hospital exit.
- On Sheppard Ave., (east of Don Mills) take the 85 Sheppard East
bus to the Don Mills subway station and get off at Leslie station.
The closest intersection is Leslie and Sheppard.
If you are coming from the 401, take the Leslie exit, go north, turn
right on Sheppard and then turn at the first left on Buchan Court. Buchan
Court is one street northeast of Leslie on Sheppard.The Seniors' Health
Centre (2 Buchan Court) is on your left.
If you are coming from the Don Valley Parkway/404, get off at Sheppard
and go west past Don Mills Rd. and turn right on Buchan Court.

By subway: On the Sheppard subway line, get off at Leslie station and
walk northeast on Sheppard to Buchan Court.

North York General Hospital's Branson Site is on the south side of Finch
Avenue West, just west of Bathurst Street, and east of Dufferin Ave.

- On Finch Avenue, take the Finch 36 bus, which originates in the
east from Finch subway station at Yonge.
- From the north or south, there are numerous buses that run on Bathurst
depending on time and day of week.

Parking at the Branson Site
Parking at the Seniors' Health Centre
If you are coming to the General site, visitor parking is available
opposite the Main Entrance. You will take a ticket as you come into
the lot and will pay at the AutoPay machine before you leave (near the
front of the lot) or pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard) in the exit
lane.
There is also a small parking lot near our Emergency that has an AutoPay
as well as a Pay and Display machine where you can purchase a ticket
for an allotted time and put it on your dash. If you are coming to 4000
Leslie St., across the street from the hospital, there is a parking
lot located there as well with an AutoPay. For your convenience, there
is an ATM in the main lobby on the ground floor of the hospital, and
a bank machine on the 1st floor near the Pharmacy. Money raised from
parking covers the cost of maintaining the lots and supports programs.
Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed. Visitor parking rates are
posted at the entrance to the parking lot.

You can purchase all passes at the AutoPay machine (cash or credit
card). Coupons (cash or cheque) must be purchased at the parking office,
located at the front of the Visitors' Parking Lot. The parking office
is open at all times.
(short-term parking)
The Emergency Lot has an AutoPay as well as a pay and display machine
that takes coins and credit cards. There is a change machine inside
the entrance to the right of the Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency.

Please do not park at the main entrance, as it is a fire route and
must be kept clear. If you are dropping off someone or picking up
a person who is waiting at the front door, you may enter the drop off
circle in the front entrance for a few minutes only; the driver must
remain in the car.
Visitor parking is available in the lot in front of the Branson Site.

The Seniors' Health Centre has a small visitors' lot near the main entrance
to the nursing home. It has a pay and display machine that takes all
coins, plus credit cards.

There are also a few city-operated parking meters on Buchan Court.
