North York General Hospital is recognized for offering a wide range of mental health services that meet the specific needs of individuals and families, across generations.

Through our inpatient, day hospital and outpatient services, we offer excellent continuity of care.

Our team-oriented professionals are committed to high quality mental health services that improve health outcomes. As well, we have established partnerships with regional and provincial networks that ensure patients receive the very best care within the hospital and in the community.

We provide education for residents studying to become psychiatrists, for general practitioners to learn about mental health, and to a variety of other mental health professionals including social work, child and youth counsellors, occupational therapy, psychology, and nursing.
