Surgical Specialties Ophthalmology Cataract surgery is performed in two dedicated eye surgery operating rooms at the hospital's Branson Site (555 Finch Ave. W.). In partnership with Markham Stoufville and Humber River Regional hospitals, the Cataract High Volume Centre is serving more people in our community, and decreasing the wait time for cataract implants and surgery. Thoracic Surgery Thoracic Surgeons operate on diseases of the lung such as lung cancer, certain infections of the lungs and collapse of the lungs.
