Elyse Lackie

Dr. Elyse Lackie is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Elyse began her career in medicine at North York General Hospital in 1993 as a junior resident, and joined as active staff in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001. 

She obtained her MD from the University of Western Ontario and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto, and a fellowship in Family Planning and Contraception at Planned Parenthood and Harvard Medical School in Boston. In 2014, she obtained a Master of Public Health at Columbia University in New York. 

Her roles at North York General have included Director of Undergraduate Medical Education (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from 2001–2008, Governor of the North York General Foundation from 2009–2014 and Vice President of the Medical Staff Association from 2016–2018.
