Baruch/Weisz Cancer Centre

The Baruch/Weisz Cancer Centre provides support for patients and families as they experience the journey of cancer treatment.

The centre's committed interprofessional team strives to ensure patients and families experience the best possible quality of life while receiving the latest evidenced-based treatment for cancer. The team includes medical oncologists, hematologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and registered dietitians. These professionals have expertise in supporting patients with cancer.

Before they begin their first chemotherapy treatment at our hospital, patients attend an informative half-day session where they meet many of the health care professionals who will be involved in their care. Patients have told us how valuable it is to learn what they can expect and what services are available to them.
