Late Loss Support Group

The Late Loss Support Group is an open virtual support group that will give you an opportunity to share your experiences and connect with other parents who have experienced a recent (within the past year) late pregnancy loss or neonatal death. Late pregnancy loss is defined as 20+ weeks and includes a still birth or loss due to incompatibility with life.

There is no fee to attend this group.

Eligibility Criteria

This group is for individuals who have experienced a recent (within the past year) late pregnancy loss or neonatal death. You do not need to be an NYGH patient to attend the group.

Group leaders

  • Patricia Irvine RN, Clinical Nurse Educator, Maternal Newborn and Paediatric Program, North York General Hospital

The support group meets virtually every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. using Microsoft Teams.

Referrals

We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from a healthcare provider or clinician. Please note: patients expressing interest in the group will be contacted by telephone to further discuss their participation.
