North York General Hospital provides care for individuals with heart disease, and many of our patients require telemetry. Telemetry is a portable remote control heart monitoring device that reads your heart rhythm and rate, and relays this information to your nurse and to the central monitors. Many services are available directly on the 6th floor (West), and specialized diagnostics are provided through Diagnostic Cardiology Services.
