Making an Appointment
- Your physician or health care provider will provide a NYG medical imaging or cardio-respiratory service with a request for your appointment or procedure. The exception is for mammography which is arranged through the Ontario Breast Screening Program.
- Once your request is received, a member of one of our medical imaging or cardio-respiratory services will contact you directly to book an appointment.
How to Change an Appointment
- If you are unable to make it for a scheduled appointment, please contact the medical imaging service at least 24 hours prior to your appointment at the number listed on the relevant webpage below. You may also send an email or text message. Contact details are listed on each medical imaging service webpage below.
- Please note: any rescheduling will most likely result in a date/time later than your original appointment.
Reminders
- If you have an appointment for a medical imaging or cardio-respiratory service, we will send a reminder either by email or by calling a few days before your appointment.
What to bring
- Please bring a reusable bag to hold your personal belongings during your procedure. We will not provide bags. Please leave your valuables and any metal items (for example, jewelry) at home or with a family member or support person.
