Dr. Wood completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Windsor and subsequently completed a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Wayne State University. Following pharmacy school, Dr. Wood completed Medical School at the University of Toronto and went on to complete his residency in General Surgery there. Following residency, he completed a Colon and Rectal Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Wood’s clinical practice includes the evaluation and management of benign and neoplastic diseases of the colon and rectum. He has a particular interest in the use of laparoscopic techniques for the management of colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.
