Announcing North York General’s New Vice President, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive
North York General is delighted to announce that Terri Stuart-McEwan will be joining NYGH as Vice President, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, starting on February 11, 2025.
This pivotal executive role will oversee NYGH’s acute care and specialized services, lead nursing professional practice and foster strong interprofessional care teams at NYGH, working closely with the Vice President of Medical and Academic Affairs and colleagues across NYGH.
A transformative healthcare executive provincially, nationally and internationally, Terri has focused on advancing clinical innovations that are rooted in interprofessional collaboration and system sustainability.
Most recently, she was Vice President, Clinical Programs and Chief Nurse Executive at Oak Valley Health and has extensive leadership experience in academic and community hospitals across Canada. Her collaborative work has included recent partnerships with Ontario Health and Canadian organizations, as well as international partnerships with Kuwait and Qatar.
NYGH would like to recognize and thank Linda Jussaume for her expert leadership over the last year as Interim VP Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, and especially for guiding NYGH through a highly successful accreditation process this fall.
