NYG Dietitians Honoured with Inaugural Academic Appointments at TMU
We are proud to share that North York General’s (NYG) dietitians have been awarded academic appointments at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) within the School of Nutrition, Faculty of Community Services. This milestone achievement, made possible through the dedicated advocacy of dietitians, marks the first time members of the profession have been recognized with an academic appointment at TMU.
For over 55 years, NYG has been a leader in educational training models and innovative academic hospital partnerships, both of which have expanded clinical training opportunities for dietitians. These inaugural appointments not only recognize the expertise and leadership of NYG’s dietitians, but also celebrate the lasting impact they have made on the profession for the next generation.
