Non-urgent surgeries and services gradually resuming

Ontario hospitals have been instructed to gradually and cautiously resume elective and non-urgent outpatient services. Affected patients, physicians and staff will be notified about the resumption of these services as they are rescheduled as soon as possible. Virtual consultations will continue to be used where possible.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and will update our community if anything changes.

Thank you for your understanding.  We know that having non-urgent surgical and non-urgent ambulatory services rescheduled and delayed has been very difficult for patients, families and caregivers. 

We will continue to take all efforts to keep patients safe and meet the community’s needs while we respond to the pandemic.
