North York General Hospital (NYGH) is a leading community academic hospital, ranked second best across Canada and among the top 100 hospitals in the world.  We provide an exceptional care experience for patients and their families, and have proudly served our diverse communities in north Toronto and beyond since 1968.

The hospital offers a wide range of acute care, ambulatory and long-term care services across multiple sites:  General site, Phillips House, Branson Ambulatory Care Centre, Seniors’ Health Centre, and the Reactivation Care Centre - Finch Site.

At NYGH, we define success through the patients’ eyes and have taken a purposeful approach to meeting and exceeding patients’ expectations. This focus is reflected in our vision: Excellence in integrated patient-centred care through learning, innovation and partnerships.

For over 50 years, North York General has served a vibrant and dynamic community. We have a history of transforming our care to better meet the needs our patients and families and, in this ever-changing health care landscape, we recognize the need to remain responsive to changes and opportunities as they arise.
