On February 13, 2017, Dr. David Eisen and Dr. Sid Feldman of North York General Hospital's Department of Family and Community Medicine were honoured by the University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Eisen won the 2017Award for Excellence in Community-Based Teaching (Office/Clinic) and Dr. Feldman, the Sustained Excellence in Community-based Clinical Teaching (Office/Clinic) Award. These awards recognize their exemplary teaching skills, demonstrated ability to stimulate learners to think critically, analytically and independently, and commitment to the enhancement of the learner experience.
