Dr. Katelynn Tang is a breast surgical oncologist and acute care surgeon at North York General Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of British Columbia. She pursued subspecialty training through the Society of Surgical Oncology accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Tang’s clinical practice encompasses the comprehensive care of benign and malignant breast conditions, as well as acute surgical care. She has expertise in advanced oncoplastic techniques, with a focus on integrating oncologic safety and aesthetic outcomes. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through a multidisciplinary approach.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tang is actively involved in medical education and research, with a focus on survivorship, patient-reported outcomes, and surgical quality.
