Dr. Nadjafi is a specialist in General Internal Medicine and works at North York General Hospital.

Dr. Nadjafi completed her medical and specialty training at the University of Toronto where she was the Chief Medical Resident at Toronto Western Hospital. She is passionate about education and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Nadjafi was instrumental in creating North York General Hospital’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic in her capacity as the Division Head for General Internal Medicine since 2020 and led the Department of Medicine as the Chief of the Department 2022-2024. She is advancing patient care and quality in the hospital in her current role as the Vice Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee. Dr. Nadjafi is passionate about optimizing inpatient medicine, advancing senior care, and exploring innovative models of care that go beyond the walls of the hospital.

She is a mother of two and in her spare time, enjoys running.
