Teaching and Learning Week at North York General Hospital celebrates our proud history of academics and commitment to excellence in education, including IPE. At North York General, we prepare future health care professionals to work in interprofessional teams providing essential care in the community hospital setting.

This year's celebration starts June 16. The week will have a something for everyone – teaching, learning, celebrating our success, recognizing excellence and sharing our education scholarship. Events include facilitated poster presentations, education leaders networking breakfast with Lynne Sinclair, displays by interprofessional teams, teacher recognition event, and education awards celebration. A keynote address by Dr. Karen Devon on the ethics of social media in health care will be webcast to all sites.

In addition, the week marks the official opening of our Centre for Education! The excitement is palpable and will contribute directly to the student experience and create a wealth of opportunity to teach and learn.
