Learn About Your Options For Breast Reconstruction – October 17

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Breast Reconstruction Team at NYGH is presenting a free evening of education in support of breast reconstruction awareness. Join the team to learn about your options for breast reconstruction, connect with other women about their experiences, and have your questions answered.

Featuring surgeons Dr. Mary-Helen Mahoney, Dr. Ron Somogyi and Dr. Waqqas Jalil who specialize in breast reconstruction surgery, Dr. Fahima Osma who specializes in breast cancer surgery, and Dr. Hany Soliman, a radiation oncology expert from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.  

The event will take place on October 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the General site’s Jack Hurlbut Auditorium in the Nanji Academic Centre.
