NYGH Cough, Cold and COVID Clinic To Close

NYGH opened one of the first COVID-19 assessment clinics in 2020, and we’ve taken great pride in serving the testing needs of our communities over the last three years.

As the rate of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses and the demand for COVID-19 testing and other assessment services steadily declines in our community, North York General will be adapting our service offering.

The NYGH Cough, Cold and COVID (NYGH CCC) Clinic, like many other assessment centres in Ontario, will close on March 31 when dedicated funding for these services winds down.

This will allow NYGH to dedicate staff and resources to other areas of need across our sites and support our return to regular operations as we adjust to the long-term presence of COVID-19.

We want to thank our staff, physicians and learners who worked tirelessly to deliver this top-notch service and cared for our community so well.
