Your health care options over the holidays

December 23, 2021

The holidays can be a busy time for hospitals and emergency departments. While no one wants to be sick over the holidays, there are many health care options in North York and across our health care system for you and your loved ones.

Our Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency operates 24 hours a day year-round but there are times when a visit to the emergency department isn’t the most appropriate place for treatment. For serious injuries and illnesses, your nearest emergency department (ED) is the best choice but for non-urgent needs, many other options are available ad can help alleviate the burden on hospital emergency departments.
